Dad ordered a quilt a while ago. (Actually he said, " Isn't it my turn to have a new quilt?") He wanted one in red, white and black. Since I have wanted one in those colors for awhile, I thought it a good idea; however, I couldn't find a pattern that I thought I liked. I wanted one that would show the design in the fabric, thus the pieces could not be too small, but it need to be small enough to have detail. After experiementing for several months, I think I have found a pattern that I like. It is from Moda Bake Shop. Moda Bake Shop: "Off the Grid" Sliced Nine Patch Quilt
Feb 8, 2010 ... I'm so excited to be back for my second Moda Bake Shop tutorial! This time I'll share a quick and easy quilt pattern featuring my variation ... www.modabakeshop.com/.../off-grid-sliced-nine-patch-quilt.html -
I really, really like it! It does not look "easy" as the description on the Moda Bake Shop says above. I wonder how it is going to be quilted (what design or pattern)?
Okay so the clutter is getting tiresome; I'm working on it, but so far there is no visible difference.
ARRRRRGH! Where are all the big yellow dumpsters when one needs one?

I looks so good! The colors are great. I am starting on mine today!
I really like the pattern, and it is turning out really nice. What size are the squares?
