Riverside: odds and ends

We stopped by Grammie's old house. The weeds and burdock were so high no one could have ventured near the place. It was nce to know that some of the internal parts of the house had been removed and put in a replica house made by a granddaughter.

However, when we looked at the garden area, we saw these sweet pea blossoms.
They have taken over a small area near where the gas pump stood. Very lovely.
I was surprised to see that this headstone was very small. Sometime in the future I will add one more small one next to it.
We enjoyed a nice visit with one of Lee's sons. I took up a corner whatnot that Lee's father ( or his father) had made. I also left what I had of Capener negatives, a photo of Lee as a child and a ring. They were welcomed back and now I have some extra closet space. Actually I felt they belonged there rather than with me. I was glad they wanted them and they were glad to get them. Happy ending.

Tall Grass and other wonders of nature at Panguitch Lake

Notice the grass is over 6 feet tall.

This is the blossom of the pine tree.
 Later comes the pine cone.
 Sego lily, Utah state flower.

Cactus on top of the mountain.
