Visitors from the south

It was one of those days that not everyone would smile...but Natalie was tucked in and felt comfortable.

Some really cute faces, without the hand in the mouth. Come visit again Natalie!

Adam's baptism

We felt very blessed to attend Adam's baptism. What a good choice he made. He is a special child and we love him very much.
These pictures keep appearing and disappearing, so am going to post this before I have to start over.

Visit to Houston

I find that it has been awhile since I attached any pics. Here are a few to catch up. Snack time while working at the lakehouse. A view of the island from on shore.
Watchingpeople go across to the island. A view of the extreme jungle and the need for four legged critters to clear some of that growth.
A unique way to fertilize your lawn.
One of Adam's presents. A little too big for Nate, but what's the fun of not trying out big brothers' new stuff?
We enjoyed our visit there.

A lot of snow

This last weekend we went to the cabin to take up Granpa's new snowplow. He is quite pleased  with it. Before he was able to unload it, he climbed on the bobcat and  spent two hours removing the huge amount of snow that was in the driveway. I spent the same amount of time shoveling the snow off the uncovered porch in front of the big windows. He said he was tired; I was totally wiped out and sore for a long time afterwards. I was too worn out to get any pictures except these near the turnoff to Brianhead. On Saturday the temperture was 14 degrees in some places getting to the cabin and there were many lovely frost decorations on all the trees.

We noticed several stuck four wheelers on the lake; the snow was deep there also. My camera refused to snap anything at that time, so no pictures of those losers.
It was cheerfully warm inside and we ate well, so it was a good weekend.
