One day it was a bit breezy and Clell suggested we trek down to the lake and try flying kites. It looked like everyone was enjoying the activity.
The "big boys", Nannette and Grandpa rode down Bryce Canyon on mules or horses-whichever they were assigned.
Grandpa and the others were not smiling that much after the ride for a couple of days.
Meanwhile Nate, Ellie and I walked around admiring the red rocks and stumbled up 'King" being given new shoes. We had an interesting interview with the shoer. In answer to one question he asked Nate if he wanted to try to hold up the horse's leg. Nate and Ellie agreed it was a heavy leg to hold up while, cutting off some of the hood, filing the hoof and trying to nail the shoe on.
This was before the rain at Cedar Breaks.
