Panguitch Quilt Walk

These were a few of the quilts Virginia Olsen showed from her quilt collection. She was a delightful older woman who claimed she had time to quilt because her husband did the dishes. She also joked that she sent him across to Taco Bell for food and that gave her extra time also. She was older and very much fun.( Hers are actually the last two detailed appliqued ones and the first few here are from the Saturday trunk show presented by Bonnie Bailey and her mom- they sell books and patterns.)

I didn't get the camera out for most of what I worked on and that Sherry worked on. This was one of Candy's "Mary" quilts she was working on.

Sherry had a new magazine with a paper pieced cactus. It was made with wild colors and funky pots. She made the one on the right and I made the one on the left.

The water at the lake was very high. It was very near the road near the dumpsters and as you can see here, it flowed over the dam.

It snowed Saturday night- very beautiful large flakes falling straight down. There was absolutely no snow on the roads Sunday when we went to church.
