For Veteran's Day Holiday we flew to Houston to visit the kids. We drove up to the lake house and I watched Nannette paint the kitchen cupboards. I wasn't a lot of help, but did a little painting and washing down of cupboards. Joseph and Michael worked on electrical.

Adam lost a tooth a day before we came. He put it under his pillow the second night we were there. He had saved it to show to us, so he couldn't tuck it away before. I asked him the following mornig how he was doing. With a very sad mournful voice he said he was, "okay". I further questioned him and he sadly told me, " The tooth fairy didn't come." He tried again and again the fairy managed not to pick up his tooth. But the fairy finally came on the third night and he was well compensated for his long wait.

Nate was cheerful and happy most of the time. Whenever I took out the camera and pointed it in his direction, he smiled and said "cheese". Well, trained Nannette.

Ellie was very cute in her dance class apparel.

Grandpa bought a berry pie from the Pie in the Sky restaurant. Everyone enjoyed it with ice-cream on top.

Nat'e favorite activity seemed to be to eat. He spoons out his own cereal ( which has milk in it) and says, "peaze" ( please) when you have tomatoes or some other food in your hand. He ate the tomatoes out of my sandwich and out of Michael's dinner dish. Everything seems to be edible except for bread. He doesn't have a fondness for that, yet.

Ellie was fun to read to and play with.

She was given two dolls for her birthday and loved to hug them close.

This is the lake house.

This is Ellie dancing on the floor of the place.

This is the view as one walks down to the lake's edge. Joe has done a tremdous amount of work clearing out trees, trash and other debris. A great deal of labor was spent cleaning out the house, so that it looks good inside and out now. It was great to see and visit with everyone. I requested a three generation photo of Nannette, me and Ellie, but none of them came out with all three of our eyes open! Better luck next time.

Well with how I looked that painting day, you probably got a picture of my best side.
